Hi-Shan Machinery
Hi-Shan equipment has completed field operations in more than 100 cities across China. Below are selected project cases.
Starting in August 2017, Qingpu, Yangpu, Jing’an, Minhang and other districts of Shanghai successively adopted Road Pollution Removal Vehicles for the deep cleaning and routine cleaning of roads in the main urban areas.
Non-destructive utility line excavation was carried out at a construction site at the intersection of 821 Street and Xingfu Road in Putian. The job used Hi-Shan Machinery’s Suction Excavation Vehicle, which safely and efficiently completed the excavation for underground pipeline works in ground where multiple types of utility lines were buried.
As Typhoon Meranti (No. 14) approached, Hi-Shan Machinery urgently dispatched high-end emergency rescue equipment — the Suction Excavation Vehicle and the walking work platform — to Jiaowei Town, Xianyou, to clear a severely blocked river channel under a large bridge. The job combined the Suction Excavation Vehicle with the walking work platform, drawing on the Suction Excavation Vehicle’s long-distance operation and powerful suction and on the walking work platform’s maneuverability, all-terrain capability and ability to “go up mountains and down into rivers.” This solved the problems of ordinary machinery being unable to enter the river channel and of the cleared debris being impossible to transport. After emergency excavation and suction dredging by the equipment, the severely blocked river channel was cleared, ensuring that water could flow freely when the rainstorm arrived.
Deep cleaning was carried out on the surfaces of Tiananmen Square, the 2nd Ring Road, the 3rd Ring Road, Chang’an Avenue and other main roads in Beijing. The cleaned surfaces revealed the original color they had when first laid, with gaps visible and road markings clear, in sharp contrast to surfaces that had only undergone ordinary machine sweeping. After this large-scale cleaning, the main roads in the urban area were cleaner, giving Beijing back its blue sky.
On July 10, 2016, after Super Typhoon Nepartak made landfall in Fujian, the Minqing area was severely hit. Hi-Shan Machinery urgently brought in its Suction Excavation Vehicle and walking work platform and, together with officers and soldiers of the People’s Armed Police, cleared silt, garbage, pollutants, wrecked vehicles and other debris from the disaster area. This provided strong support for people in the disaster area to quickly resume production and rebuild their homes, earning recognition from military and local government leaders at all levels and praise from local residents.
Deep road cleaning was carried out in Putian. After cleaning, the stone particles in the asphalt surface were clearly visible, and muddy and grimy roads regained the original color of freshly laid pavement. The cleaning was spill-free, avoiding the secondary pollution of vehicles caused by ordinary water sprinkling and sweeping. The project cleaned more than 1.2 million square meters of road surface, leaving the roads very clean.
This project changed the traditional working mode, in which sweepers do the sweeping, sprinkler trucks perform high-pressure flushing and multiple types of decontamination equipment operate jointly: a single Suction Excavation Vehicle could complete the job, and its pollutant removal rate met the site’s environmental requirements for the work. Compared with traditional methods, the operation was fully enclosed and spill-free, the ground surface was washed clean, and work efficiency increased more than 5-fold.
